internat phonetic alphabet

The International Phonetic Alphabet showing the letter “j” as a “plosive” sound, and the markings of 1 line through the stem, or two lines through the stem, which make sounds “palatal" or “palatoalveolar". But the way Kevern’s father pronounces the letter by blowing it out, would make it neither of those sounds, but a “fricative” sound.
