Soul Collective – Joy

This is a double waka about what makes him happy.

JOY 

I have chairs and a table,
a vase and flower,
a bed where I’m wrapped up in
the embrace of my lover.

I have a sofa, a cat,
sunbeams on the floor,
music, and books, and a child.
These I need – and nothing more. 

(WAKA)

Two verses of condensed waka; 4 lines, 26 syllables, 7-5-7-7 syllables.
