CoDex 1962 is Icelandic author Sjón’s first new novel since Moonstone – The Boy Who Never Was, published in translation in 2013. I was not expecting anything straightforward from Sjón; he messes with your head. But I was not prepared for this unnerving, drawn-out waking dream. Here is the first of the review in four parts.
